Your information
Privacy & Confidentiality
Be thoughtful about the information you share online. Administrative contact, self-check tools and a clinical assessment serve different purposes and use different information.
Making an inquiry
The contact form asks for your name, email address, optional telephone number and practical preferences such as location, session format and communication language. Optional practical notes are limited to 500 characters. It does not request a medical history. Please do not include diagnoses, medication details, clinical documents or sensitive information about another person.
When you select Request contact, the website processes your contact details and preferences and sends them by email to [email protected] for the team to respond. The form does not create a WordPress inquiry record or user account. Short-lived security counters and non-readable duplicate-check hashes are used to limit spam and repeat submissions; they do not contain your message or contact details. Website hosting and email services handle the transmission, and the message is held in the relevant email systems. Ordinary email is not a clinical-record transfer service. Typing does not send your entries. Submitting the form does not provide medical advice or confirm an appointment.
Professional applications
Professional introductions can be emailed directly to [email protected]. The website does not collect application details, create an inquiry record or create a user account. An introduction is not automatically published as a team profile and does not confirm a collaboration. Please do not include patient information, identity documents or confidential case examples.
Self-checks and private notes
Questionnaire answers and appointment-preparation notes are processed in the open browser page. These tools do not automatically transmit your answers to VAYEMA or save them to an account. You may choose to download a summary or notes. A downloaded file is stored on your own device and should be kept private.
Leaving or refreshing a page may clear what you have entered. Avoid using a shared device for sensitive notes, and consider who may have access to downloaded files or browser history. A self-check result is not a diagnosis or confirmation that a situation is safe.
Search and website access
Search terms are sent to the website to retrieve relevant pages and profiles. Use general terms rather than entering a personal clinical history into search. Technical services supporting the website may process connection and security information. Logged-in access uses the website’s account and session controls.
Clinical confidentiality
Before clinical care begins, the professional should explain how relevant information and records are handled, who is responsible and what confidentiality covers. Information sharing with family members or other professionals is discussed in relation to consent, clinical responsibilities and applicable duties.
Paying for another adult’s treatment does not automatically provide access to their clinical records or conversations. Confidentiality also has limits, including circumstances involving serious safety or safeguarding concerns. These should be explained by the responsible professional.
Questions about personal information
Ask the team for the privacy information relevant to the specific service and legal provider before sharing clinical documents or beginning care. This should explain contact details, the purposes of processing, applicable rights, retention and any relevant providers or international arrangements.
Do not use email or self-checks for emergency help. Immediate safety concerns or medical emergencies need the appropriate local urgent service.
Optional website measurement
VAYEMA uses the same Google Tag Manager container as THE BALANCE to manage website measurement. The container is loaded only after you allow optional measurement. Your choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days and can be changed through Privacy choices at the bottom of the website. Rejecting optional measurement does not prevent you from using the website or contacting us.
When enabled, measurement services can receive technical information about website visits and interactions. The VAYEMA contact-success event records only that a contact request was accepted, the site brand and the form type. It does not include your name, email address, telephone number, notes, request reference or self-assessment answers. Our integration keeps advertising personalization and advertising user-data consent denied. Do not put clinical or personal information into a website URL or a search term.
