Private mental health care
Specialist Care, Built Around You
Care starts with listening. Through a careful assessment, we explore what you need, what matters to you and which professionals could help. Your plan is shaped with you, not decided before we meet.

Your care, at a glance
A way forward, together.
There is no single path that suits everyone. We take time to understand you, then help you choose support that feels clear, considered and right for your needs.
First, we take time to understand you
Your assessment is a space to talk about what has been difficult, what matters to you and what you hope will change. We listen, explore the options and agree a next step together.
You do not have to navigate care alone.
When it helps, we can support your family and keep the people involved in your care connected, from the first steps onwards.
Worried about someone who is not ready to seek help? Our Interventions service can help you prepare a thoughtful conversation and consider the next step.
Care that fits your life
Three ways to meet. One considered care plan.
Sessions can be provided online, in person at a therapist’s practice or a VAYEMA location, or at your home on request. We agree the appropriate setting with you as part of assessment and care planning.
01 / ONLINE
Where you are
Video appointments for suitable consultations and ongoing therapy. We confirm the clinician, privacy arrangements and whether remote care can be provided where you will be during the session.
02 / IN PERSON
A dedicated space
Meet at the therapist’s consulting rooms or a VAYEMA location. Your appointment confirmation identifies the professional, address and practical details before you attend.
03 / AT HOME
Support that comes to you
Home visits are arranged on demand, where clinically appropriate and available locally. We discuss the setting, privacy, clinician availability and any travel costs before confirming a visit.
You can tell us your preference when you enquire. Not every service or professional is available in every format. A format may change as your needs change; assessment establishes what is appropriate.
A clear starting point
Seeking help should not require you to understand every discipline or decide which program you need. VAYEMA brings private assessment, psychiatric and psychological care, and selected supporting services into an approach that begins with the person.
Your circumstances, goals, previous care and preferences inform the recommendation. You receive an explanation of the proposed approach, likely costs and initial review arrangements before choosing treatment. An assessment can also identify that another provider or setting would be more appropriate.
Psychiatry and psychological therapy
These are the core clinical disciplines. Psychiatry brings medical expertise to assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning, including medication where indicated. Psychology and psychotherapy provide assessment and therapeutic work focused on emotions, thoughts, behavior, relationships and life experience.
The right combination is not the same for everyone. A person may work primarily with one clinician, while another may benefit from coordinated input. Each professional’s role, qualifications and scope remain distinct.
Choose a pathway after assessment
Initial Assessment & Care Planning
Understand the concern and agree an appropriate next step. Explore the assessment process.
Individual treatment
Work with the appropriate clinician through individual appointments or an agreed sequence of sessions, with review built into the plan. Explore individual care.
Intensive Outpatient Program
A structured, coordinated program may be appropriate when more frequent outpatient support is needed. The schedule, professional input and suitability are established through assessment. Explore intensive outpatient care.
Whole-person support with a clear purpose
Integrative care considers medical and physical-health needs, nutrition, movement, sleep and everyday routines alongside the clinical core. Additional services are selected for a reason, not automatically bundled into every plan.
Where several professionals or practical arrangements need to work together, ongoing care and case management can coordinate communication and follow-through. This can include professionals already involved in your care and appropriate support for family members.
When someone you love is not ready for help
Knowing how to approach a loved one can feel difficult. Our Interventions service helps families prepare a thoughtful conversation and explore an appropriate route into care. We begin by understanding the family’s needs and safety concerns, without pressure or a promise to persuade someone into treatment.
Care that changes when your needs change
We review whether the plan remains appropriate rather than continue it by default. Changes may involve fewer appointments, a different focus, specialist input or another level of care. Clear responsibilities and communication make these transitions easier to understand.
You can begin with practical questions about the service, locations and fees. You do not need a diagnosis or a commitment to residential treatment to request an assessment.
