About VAYEMA
Private Care, Connected to Real Life
Specialist mental-health care should begin with understanding the person. VAYEMA brings assessment, treatment and ongoing support into a clear, individual plan.

A clinical foundation, a personal approach
VAYEMA’s care model places psychiatry and psychological therapy at the center. Medical, nutritional, body-based and lifestyle support can contribute where they address a relevant need. Each professional has a clear role, and additional services are selected deliberately rather than offered as a standard bundle.
We consider mental health alongside the life around it: relationships, physical health, work, family responsibilities and the support already in place. The aim is a care plan that is understandable and appropriate, not a collection of appointments that you must coordinate alone.
Part of THE BALANCE GROUP, with everyday life at heart
VAYEMA is part of THE BALANCE GROUP, alongside THE BALANCE, COGNIFUL and SENSES. We share a belief that care should look at the whole person: their mental and physical health, relationships, circumstances and hopes for the future. Each service gives that belief a different setting and purpose.
VAYEMA’s place within the group is private outpatient mental-health care. We bring assessment, psychiatry and psychological therapy into a plan that can sit alongside home, work and family life. Integrative support, interventions, family guidance and case management can be included when they are helpful. Appointments may be online, at a therapist’s practice or a VAYEMA location, or at home on request, according to suitability and availability.
You do not need to be considering residential treatment to come to VAYEMA. For many people, individual outpatient care is the appropriate choice in its own right. Our group connection gives us a broader conversation about the options when needs change; it does not create an expectation that you will move from one programme to another.
Assessment before treatment
Your first clinical appointment is an assessment. It creates space to discuss what has changed, what is difficult, what you have tried and what you hope for. You do not need to choose a diagnosis, specialist or program before making contact.
The outcome is an agreed recommendation. This may involve individual sessions, a coordinated intensive outpatient program, support alongside existing professionals or referral elsewhere. The assessment can lead to another provider when that is the more appropriate option.
Private care without unnecessary complexity
Private care should make professional roles, practical arrangements and costs clear. We explain what is proposed and why, what is included and when the plan will be reviewed. A package follows the clinical recommendation; it does not determine it.
Discretion matters, as do clear confidentiality boundaries. Relevant information is shared according to consent and professional duties. A family member’s involvement or payment is not automatic access to another adult’s clinical information.
Support that continues when needed
Some people need focused work with one clinician. Others need help connecting several professionals and practical actions. Ongoing care and case management can support individuals and families at any stage, including transitions between services and work with external clinicians.
Continuity does not mean an indefinite commitment or a promise of round-the-clock care. The scope, contact arrangements and review points should be agreed and adjusted as needs change.
Local conversations, a consistent approach
Our initial focus is Mallorca, Marbella, London and Zurich. The same assessment-led philosophy guides the network, while professional availability, language, format and local requirements remain specific to each service. Contact the team to understand the options relevant to your location.
Our wider group
Different needs. Different ways forward.
VAYEMA focuses on private outpatient care. The wider group offers distinct residential and healthspan programmes when a different setting or objective is appropriate. Explore each service to understand its approach.
Private residential treatment
THE BALANCE
A private residence and dedicated multidisciplinary team organised around one client. An option for people whose mental health, addiction or co-occurring needs call for intensive residential care.
Personalised residential treatment
COGNIFUL
Residential mental health, addiction and trauma care in a small community in Mallorca. Individual treatment is complemented by structured shared experience, peer perspective and support.
Private healthspan programmes
SENSES
Personalised programmes for medically stable adults focused on assessment, prevention, restoration and resilience. A distinct purpose from residential mental health or addiction treatment.
The appropriate programme follows your needs, safety, preferences and goals. These are different models of care, not automatic steps in a treatment ladder.
Helping you find the right fit
Choosing support can feel overwhelming, especially when you are already finding things difficult. You do not have to compare every programme or decide how much care you need on your own. We begin with a conversation and an assessment, then explain the options in relation to your needs, safety, preferences and practical circumstances.
Outpatient appointments may give you the support you need while you continue your usual routines. Sometimes a more intensive outpatient plan is appropriate. For someone who needs residential care, the privacy of an individual residence or the shared experience of a small community may be an important part of choosing a suitable setting. A healthspan programme has a different purpose: it is not a substitute for mental-health or addiction treatment when that is needed.
Continuity, without a predetermined destination
With your agreement, VAYEMA can help prepare for a change in care, coordinate with a residential team or support the return to everyday life after a stay. Ongoing appointments, family support and case management may help keep that transition connected. These arrangements are discussed individually, including who is responsible, what is available locally and what it will cost.
You remain free to work with professionals and services outside the group. We can coordinate with a doctor or therapist you already trust, and recommend an external service when it is the better fit. Information is not automatically shared across the group: relevant communication is agreed with you and handled according to confidentiality and professional responsibilities.
Each programme has its own team arrangements, suitability criteria, scope and fees. Our role is to help you understand those differences, not to present one as an automatic next step or simply a different price level.
